Renown empOwer is an Enterprise Management Portal, or Web User Interface, enabling data processing into Microsoft Dynamics SL via a browser. It provides a full Menu System, Web Lists (data grids) and Web Forms for Dynamics SL Entities (Eg Customers, Projects, Timecards, POs, Invoices, etc.).  All lists and forms are customisable and update SL via modifiable APIs & Web Services. 

Each Entity (e.g. Customer) can have multiple Web Forms. Access rights are assigned to forms limiting what fields users can see or edit. Analogous to SL Customisation Manager, only easier to use, more powerful and web based.

Entities can have multiple data lists 'Views', with filters, grouping, formats and field control. Views are assigned to Users, limiting the records they can see and edit. Users can launch Web Forms from the View's grid rows.

The Web Development Framework (or SDK) enabling clients and partners to build their own Web Services (APIs) for custom Entities. Build your own compelx Logical Data Types with specific unique business logic.  Then create custom Entities (Web Services) using the Logical Data Types and Framework Code Generator.  Build any Entity whether related to SL or not.
  

A collection of fields and business logic providing the building blocks for creation of Entities (Eg Project, Voucher, etc). Custom Logical Data Types can be created and used by the Code Generator. Using Complex Data Types to build APIs (Entities) enables consistent application of core business logic across all created Entities.

Entities are the published Web Service (API) built by the SDK framework code generator, using Data Types, to apply common business logic. An Entity can be built from an existing SQL table, including SL tables, or can itself build or extend SQL tables. SL Entities delivered by Renown can be edited and extended.
