The Renown Calendar Timecards has three key components.
Dynamics SL Server
Smart Client Application on the workstation (Client).
Microsoft Outlook Add-in (Client)
Before the Renown Timecard Software can be installed there are a few Microsoft Pre-requisities that need to be installed on both the Server and Client Machines. The Renown installer tests for these pre-requisites, .Net Framework, Visual Studio Tools for Office and Office PIA, A warning is displayed if they are missing. The pre-requisites can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site.
Please ensure you install the correct Renown Calendar Timecards application for your version of Windows (32 or 64 bit). The application should run for both versions of Office (32 & 64 bit), but the Office 64 bit version has not yet been tested.
Please ensure you install the correct Office Add-in for your version of Outlook (2003, 2007 or 2010). Only the 32 bit versions of Office have been tested.
Only minimal testing has been performed for Dynamics SL 2011.
