FRx in SSRS
Renown Financial Reporting                                       Summary Video

The Renown Financial Reporting module uses Dynamics SL and SQL Reporting Services "SSRS" to generate financial reports using a similar paradigm to Microsoft Dynamics FRx.

The report elements; Hierarchy (Tree), Columns, Rows and Fonts are defined in Dynamics SL maintenance screens.  The report reads the structure, formatting and GL balance data from Dynamics SL and renders the result to web reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and SharePoint. Using SQL Reporting Services provides more freedom in report design and easier deployment and generation of reports in a web environment.

A genuine FRx alternative. Delivering the power of SSRS to finance and management teams.

Report Hierarchy (Tree)      Fonts

Font codes can be created that define font, bolding, size, back colour, borders, etc.  These font codes can be applied to columns and rows in the report for emphasis.

Report Generation        Drilldown & Notes

A SQL Server Reporting Services report is designed to read the report design elements above (Tree, Columns, Rows, Fonts) and the applicable GL balance to render the web report.

It is possible to drilldown through the Tree Hierarchy displaying the full report at each level or node. Notes can be entered in the rendered report and reprinted as annotations.
