Users used to be bound to the company they are logged in to when entering data or running reports. Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011 now allows for screens to be opened for multiple companies, allowing faster and more effective processing. The company ID is displayed on the top right hand corner and can be identified easily based on the colour displayed. This is especially useful for AP clerks that are entering vouchers in multiple companies. Processing in multiple companies is really simple, as users are currently familiar with. To switch to a different company, simply click on the Company button displayed and select the new company ; proceeding to opening a new window with the originally opened window still active.
